  • Character bio (Look at the canon character’s biographies to get an idea of the length): Sophomore Elliot Abrams is a complete ladies man, at least he thinks he is. He’s awkward, but charming, and will do pretty much anything to make someone laugh. When he was fourteen his father died from a terminal illness, and that’s when his mom decided to move the family to River Court. His freshman year is when he met Jared Green, and their friendship began. Jared is one of the only people in River Court that Elliot can be completely real with. Jared is also the only person who know’s about Elliot’s father. Though he hides behind his class clown attitude Elliot has a lot of sadness built up from the loss of his father. He fears that one day it’s going to be enough, enough to set him over the edge.
  • Para sample (2+ paragraphs. In the character you are auditioning for. 3rd person): Elliot scratched his chin as he watched his new teacher walk back, and forth in the front of the classroom. It wasn’t that he hated school or anything, he’d just rather be home or out with one of his friends stirring up trouble. The teacher asked the student next to him a question, bringing him back to reality. “Only two more hours until you can go home, and be lazy.” he thought to himself quietly. Since moving to town his house had been pretty quiet. With his mother at work, and his sister away at College, Elliot pretty much had every afternoon to himself.
  • Being alone in his condition though wasn’t always a good idea. His therapist said talking about his father was the key to recovery, but the only person he could bare to tell was Jared. He was afraid that if other people knew they would think of his as weak, or less of a man. He didn’t want to loose his charming reputation, and his father. Loosing his father was enough as it was.
